18 Sep Interview with Laurence Tham
Just recently, one of our clients, Laurence Tham of Drive Your Practice visited us right after attending the Blackbelt Island Intensive with 3 of his CARVE ninjas.
The Blackbelt Island Intensive is a workshop conducted by Blackbelt crew led by the coach of all coaches, Taki Moore. This is in partnership with CARVE.
The objective of the workshop debuts with one goal: To enhance the relationship between the clients and their VAs (virtual assistant).
And! We just had a chance to catch up with him and had him interviewed by Adelaine Chua, department manager of R.A.D.A.R.
In this video, we asked him two questions:
What is the best advice you can give to the VAs on how to stay proactive?
What is the best advice that someone has given to you that you were able to lived up to it?
On being proactive, Laurence points out the following things that Vas need to ponder on:
– Take initiative
– Help your client to focus on their geniuses
– Client and VA relationship should always be in a WIN-WIN situation
– Accountability: Knowing yourself and owning the responsibility
– Complement each other’s strengths
– Do things beyond extra mile
As for the best advices that he got, he mentioned about his favorite baseball player Lou Gary about being grateful and lucky in living the life to the fullest. Moreover, it’s also about recognizing the wins that we are credited for.
