22 Mar 5 Things that describe the right team for outsourcing
The headline pretty much explains what you are going to get from this content.
The need to write it is coming from a place of good intentions I promise you.
And as you read this, I will do my best to make sure that this won’t be a waste of time.
A lot of us look for agencies, service providers and even freelancers (never do this — I’ll tell you why, in
another list of 5 things) based on our need. The questions we need to ask ourselves when we do are these:
- Have I done recruitment before and how great was I?
- How unbiased was my selection process?
- How quickly did I need to fire my hire?
LOL just trying to be funny here.
If you scored yourself low in the first two questions, and we already knew that, we will do our best to
help you in this list of 5 things that describe the right team for outsourcing.
This must be a list thats so full of wisdom as it will make you feel like a legitimate recruiter team builder extraordinaire after.
You are choosing the right outsourcing team when…
You see that they have some semblance of structure
Most of the work gets lost in the baton passing and hand offs from technicians to specialists
to admin to project managers. There are just 50 million things that could go wrong
– so if the team has a complicated model or doesn’t even have one, ding ding ding ding — alarm bells!
Their billing model is easy
Easy to pay, easy to get work done. One of the first things you need to do in a business
transaction is to pay – so this is a good indicator of how easy it is to work with this team.
Their time coverage is convenient
Because they think of you and how easy they want your life to be. So any time you need
anything – boop, they are there.
They have a support system that is accessible and approachable
Reachable in a way that is most convenient to you and when you do reach them, it is always a pleasure.
They are very clear about who they are and what they stand for.
As people usually gravitate towards who they are, You would want to work with a team
that speaks to you on this level. If you flow with what they stand for and who they are,
getting stuff done also will.
Bonus tip because you have been very good reading up to this point…
You know exactly where the project is at with one glance.
If every move is measured or every stage is clear and transparent, it is easy for you to
imagine how far (or near) you are to happiness. Or success. Whichever floats your boat.
